About

I'm happy you're here

Aspen Root was inspired by the remarkable way aspen trees grow, connected through vast underground root systems that support one another and regenerate after hardship. That image reflects the heart of my work and my belief that, even through life's most difficult seasons, growth remains possible. I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, understood, and connected. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, my goal is to create a space where you don't have to carry it alone. My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I integrate relational therapy with Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic approaches, and an understanding of the nervous system to support meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped you and how they may be showing up in your relationships, your emotions, and your daily life. Before becoming a marriage and family therapist, I spent more than thirteen years as a licensed massage therapist with advanced training in craniosacral therapy and therapeutic bodywork. While my psychotherapy and bodywork practices are offered as entirely separate professional services, my experience in both has shaped a deeper understanding of the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system, informing the way I approach each discipline within its own professional scope. I work with individuals, couples, and families, recognizing that every person and every relationship is unique. Together, we'll find an approach that feels meaningful, collaborative, and responsive to your unique needs and goals.
